Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of Belovia (belovia.date), including the website and mobile applications (the Service). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated under the brand Belovia at belovia.date. Contact: support@belovia.date. If a separate legal entity is registered later, these Terms will be updated with its details.

2. The Service

Belovia is a Christian dating platform for adults seeking serious, faith-centered relationships. Features may include profiles, discovery, likes and matches, messaging after mutual interest, and prayer-community tools. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued as we improve the product.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law.
• You may not use the Service if we have previously suspended or banned your account for serious violations.

4. Account and security

Provide accurate registration and profile information and keep it reasonably up to date. Keep your password and device access secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@belovia.date if you suspect unauthorised use.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or create security or legal risk — with or without prior notice when reasonably necessary.

5. Community standards

You agree that you will not:

• harass, threaten, stalk, or demean others;
• post hate speech, spam, scams, or fraudulent profiles;
• share explicit sexual content, pornography, or illegal content (including involving minors);
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or intentions;
• use the Service for commercial solicitation without our prior written consent;
• misuse prayer or faith-related features to manipulate, shame, or exploit others;
• attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service or other users' data beyond what the product intentionally allows.

We may remove content and take account action when we believe these standards are broken. Use in-app report / block tools and email support when you encounter abuse.

6. Matches, messaging, and safety

Messaging typically opens after mutual interest (for example a match). Treat others with respect. Belovia cannot guarantee who you will meet or how others will behave. Meet in public places if you choose to meet offline, tell a trusted person your plans, and never send money or sensitive financial details to people you only know through the Service.

7. Your content

You retain rights to the photos, text, and other content you submit. You grant Belovia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service (including showing your profile to other users according to product rules).

You confirm you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. You may edit or remove some content through available profile tools; residual copies may remain in backups for a limited time.

8. Our intellectual property

The Belovia name, branding, software, and site design are protected. You may not copy or use them except as needed to use the Service, without our written permission.

9. Third-party services

The Service may rely on third parties (for example Google Sign-In, hosting, email, or push delivery). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. Belovia is not responsible for outages or policies of those providers beyond our reasonable control.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis within the limits of applicable law. Belovia does not guarantee matches, relationship outcomes, uninterrupted availability, or that the Service will be error-free. Dating and online communication involve inherent risks.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Belovia and its operators, contributors, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or interactions with other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law (for example certain liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is unlawful).

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence give you non-waivable rights. Courts located in Ukraine shall have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to those mandatory rights.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Updated" date will change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where additional consent is required by law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
